Oh man. All my pissiness over the no-show of Strange Fate aside, I would love to win one of these. The FG trilogy are still right up there on my favourite book list over a decade after I first read them. They're some of the few kids books I read then that I can still read now without thinking they were better when I was too young and naive to understand them.

I wouldn't even wear the damn thing though (I can never get rings to fit unless I get them altered; I think I have freakishly-small fingers), I'd be too afraid of losing it. I'd still love one. Merchandising over childhood nostalgia objects really is the best (or frequently worst from the pov of my bank account. Like, I'd also really love a Julian action figure or an FG film which I would, of course, buy every special DVD edition of [I still think it'd work better as a film trilogy than a TV series] which I guess might bring the action figures if we were lucky. I'd love this rerelease to bring it to the attention of some Hollywood exec. Forbidden Game would be a fabulous film! Julian could take down a hundred Edward Cullens in any sort of Deathmatch. And he'd looked hilariously bored while doing it.)

Ah, books that I read as a kid and that're still awesome. ♥ There is nothing better.

Additional Unrelated Note: Why does no one buy anything off me on Amazon for months and then I sell two things in three days? Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining! Any and all extra money that keeps me out of my overdraft a bit longer during Wimbledon is marvellous. It's just a bit bizarre. Maybe there is something going on unconsciously that tips people across the don't-buy/buy line all at once.

Dude, this has nothing to do with anything except I finally watched Up this weekend - I cried about 4 times. AMAZING FILM <3

Also, still reading the Monsters of Men because it's started out brutal already, and I'm going to have to wait until my heart can take it. You on the case yet? And don't forget - every day which passes brings us closer to the final Hunger Games!! :D

Up completely broke my heart in the first ten minutes when I saw it! UNEXPECTEDLY. It's like la-la, happy kids' film, la-la BAM HEARTBREAKING SADNESS DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING WHAT. And then it keeps being more and more amazing even though it's sad. I do <3 Up ridiculously; it's fighting to be my favourite Pixar film but Wall-e... <3

None of the libraries I can get to had it. *sulks* Either the third or the second one. I'm eyeing the second one on Amazon right now but I have so many books to read anyway and so little money. *agonises* Not to mention the Post Office LOST my copy of Demon's Covenant two weeks ago and Amazon won't send me a new one until I've waited to be 'absolutely sure' it won't show up! I am so annoyed!

Hunger Games 3 needs to be here now! It's worse that it's getting so close and we still don't have it! (I'm intrigued though; the book image on Amazon says August 24th but the Amazon release date is the 25th. Huh.)

I KNOW, RIGHT? It was all happy happy and then BAM! Crying. And yeah, it was pretty amazing - I managed to handle it and then he found that DAMN Adventure Diary again... *sob* Yeah, it's up there in the favourites... but Wall-e is also amazing <3

LAME. All the libraries around here are very poorly stocked as well. And I have a lost book from Amazon as well! It's the final one in a series as well, so needless to say I am not impressed >:( But that does remind me that I still need to order the Demon's Covenant. That should be awesome.

I think that there shouldn't be any issues with it - but it's like, uber under wraps at the publishers which only makes me want it MORE! *waits impatiently*
