I feel a bit empty after that match. I never really expected Andy to win, then I did, then he didn't and I don't know if that was right or fair but I do know that I cried over the pictures of Roger after the AO final last night and I did want him to make history. And I shouldn't be surprised given how I felt going in but Andy Roddick earned every point of that match.

All in all, I don't really know what to say. I'm so proud of both of them. I'm so proud of how far they've come from 2004. And heartbroken at the same time, because I really don't think the losses cut so deep in those days.

So instead have the song that's become my song for these championships. It was the first song I heard after Andy won on Friday and it's been pretty much on repeat since then.

Into the Fire - Thirteen Senses. It sounds like I feel right now.

I'm going to go- digest. Somehow. I don't know. I'm happy and- not.

I wish no one had had to win. That match didn't deserve a loser. Even if I'm much better right now than the emotional wreck I was last year, I still- don't know.

I feel so sad about it, i know roger deserved to win, he did his best, but andy, I had rarely see him play so well against roger, and I'm afraid that this lost could be the one to many you know? poor thing totally had a chance to win (at the beginning i thought he wouldn't be abble and he surprised me) anyway... i guess there's always next year

It went until 3.30am for me and I felt ill by 5-5 in the fifth. I was just willing Andy on. I've never seen him play so brilliantly as he has this tournament.
