Everytime I start to watch Andy, he starts to lose. SO I'm off to play on my new GTA: Vice City that arrived today instead.

Enjoyed 1408 very much. Not perhaps the best movie ever but the jumps were good without being OTT (that is, for me who only finds a specific minority of films freaky enough for emotional scarring. It depends how jumpy you are) and John Cusack was awesome. Plus the frozen hotel room was a beautiful effect/set. Whatever people have said about the ending (I'd read bad things about it), for what it's worth I liked it. Two thumbs up.

I didn't have time to buy a new sketchbook after and still catch the bus. Irritation. Have to go back in Wednesday for some stupid jobs fair thing, so I can pick one up then, along with some bright cutlery. I'm sick of silver; I've used purple-handled ones for three years and damned if I'm going to settle for boring again. Along with the laundry basket I picked up today, room is becoming more like my Lancaster room every day.

Only I discovered today that the rat cage I wanted is three cm too big for the space I have. Very, very annoying since Pets at Home throw in the bedding, food, cleaning stuff and treats with the cage, something I doubt I'll get anywhere else. Add to that the fact that parents won't give me lifts to other pet stores and it's a setback. A somewhat bigger setback than I would've liked, but still. Seeing the two rats they had in the store today, one using the other as a pillow, reaffirmed that I love them and I want some. I'll just have to start shopping around for cages that'll fit is all.

A minor plus is that I checked the website and it listed the cage I was planning to get as big enough for four rats. Considering I only want two, a 3cm-smaller cage shouldn't be too much of a hardship.

edit: Yay Andy! Not that a retirement is a win but still, he was winning before. It counts.

Roger is going to be on at like, stupid-o-clock in the morning but I might stay up to watch it. If Roger wins to get an Andy-Roger match, it'll be worth it.

Except Andy's going to lose against Roger and I don't know if I can take watching that again, as much as I love watching them play each other.

And they will be on a stupid-o-clock because it's them, and I will not be able to watch.:(

Maybe I'm insanely optimistic but every time they play, I want it to be the time that Andy gets his head on straight at the same time that Roger has a bad day. If Andy falls to pieces or Roger crushes him then I regret ever wanting it but I still always want *this* time to be the time that Andy beats him. He will, eventually he will; the alternative is just too depressing to contemplate. Clinging to my optimism makes me happy. :)

That will suck. :( There should be more jobs that aloow for crazy hours to accomodate tennis. We shall invent some when we rule the world.

Me too, and every time I get that false hope and it crushes me that tiny bit more each time. Shanghai last year killed me, because Andy was *so close* and then he choked at the last minute, and I always, always wonder what would have happenned if he'd won. Like that 2004 Wimbledon, if only there wasn't rain. I love their matches, I have too many of them on DVD and maybe I enjoy tormenting myself but I want more. Always. Andy wouldn't be Andy if he wasn't stressful, it's part of the dumb-but-insanely-cute package that is him.

There should be jobs that allow for tennis and I want one. We will definitely invent some. Though if we rule the world we can decide our own working pattern.

I'm staying up! It may mean I crash in my driving lesson at stupid o clock tomorrow morning. But Roger is well worth it!
-fingerscrossed- I shouted so much at andy because I wanted an Andy Roger quarter final lmao. I can't imagine what percentage of tennisslash will be up to watch it if it ends up on at 3am or something silly!

Yay! I won't be the only one freaking onto LJ if he has a bad night then. ^_^ (I had to stop booking driving lessons before 11am, because I just drove into everything and it was bad.) I had to stop watching Andy when he lost a few games because it was too stressful. And far more than is sensible probably. ^_^ Heh.

LMAO Well I stayed and was doing a dance when I realised he was straight through. But Berdych looked awful, he was breathing all funny I hope he's okay.

(And so long as it's not past 2am I'm okay. Because then my parentals actually drag me offline if I'm still on!
