Genderfucking is stalking my life lately. There's [livejournal.com profile] topgearslash's February challenge and then it shows up on the flist and then, today, our English lecturer brought it up. Only she called it genderbending but I still prefer genderfucking, for no reason other than I am still five years old and swearing is funnier.

Anyway, starting to be a little weirded out. Any minute now, someone's going to do it in tennis slash and convince me the world is indeed conspiring to make me write it. I am womanfully resisting. Mainly because as funny as it is to give Hamster breasts, I'm having more trouble building a mental image of woman!Roger.

...

For anyone who might've just started reading my journal, HI. I AM NOT CRAZY.

No, really.

...Yeah.

I can totally imagine Roger as a woman. Though I don't see him as a pretty woman in any way.

I've always wanted to write Andy winning Wimbledon and Roger winning Wimbledon as a woman and them having to dance at the Champion's Ball, because cutes.

I don't know. I can kind of see it if I look sideways and squint -- I mean, he manicures his nails, goes to fashion shows, fusses with his hair; he's got all the attributes down already -- but it's much harder than with Hamster for some bizarre reason. Maybe because Hamster's little and more fine-boned and does, weirdly, look like Anne Hathaway whereas Roger just doesn't for me.

I like that it's Roger that's the woman. ;-) Though... Andy's very much a guy so he'd be an even weirder woman and yeah, it'd probably work better. Definite cutes. We should totally do a genderfucking challenge for Wimbledon.

Um. I mean doesn't look like a woman generally, not just Anne Hathaway. ^_^

Exactly, he's got all the habits down, and Roger giggles, which makes him even more of a woman (if he was one). Hamster is small and skinny which is maybe why, and Roger would be a tall woman but I really can see him as a woman. Maybe more than Hamster. *ponders* Roger could look different as a woman. His sister doesn't look that much like him.

Well, Andy just couldn't be a woman in any way. I mean... come on. ;) He's a complete sports freak and generally just guy-ish. Plus he has no fashion sense whatsoever. Very cutes. We should do. It'd be hilarious.

He has but I don't know, my mind refuses to stick breasts on him. I'm a little surprised it accepted Hamster!woman so easily actually (though I'm still having trouble with Jeremy. ;) ) Maybe some Photoshopping is called for with Roger, to get a mental picture. She doesn't, good point. Wouldn't be as funny if he wasn't recognisable though. ;)

Andy is totally guy-ish. But then I'm accepting Jeremy Clarkson turned into a woman, so anything is possible. Yes but do all the women players have fashion sense? ;) He'd blend right in with some of them. We really should. The tennis fandom needs more challenges I think. Especially crack-y ones.

Hee!

You have a paypal account, right? How easy was it to set up, do you trust it, and is it how you pay for your LJ?

As you can probably tell from my line of questioning, my paid acount runs out tomorrow and I've never paid for it before *sheepish* and this time I am.

^_^

I do, it was pretty easy, I trust it in that I've never had problems (other than their never-ending persistence in sending me emails after I've got bored of them and that's my fault for not bothering to cancel them) and it's been highly recommended by several friends who use it. It isn't how I pay for my LJ however, not since the first time when I only used it because LJ was having problems with accepting a debit card. I use my VISA direct with LJ now and it's been fine for years so if you've got a card they accept, I'd recommend skipping the hassle of Paypal and doing it direct through LJ. Paypal's absolutely fine, I just find it frustrating to have to go through an intermediary.

*grins* Once you pay for it once, you'll be paying for it forever. ;-) Renewing my LJ is an annual, impossible-to-resist event now.

I tried to pay through the credit card option, but I don't think it'll accept my NatWest student bank card.

I doubt it will. Most American based sites don't accept Solo/Maestro cards which is what NatWest has. Paypal does though, and I use Paypal even though I have a Visa and a Mastercard, simply because I find it easier. :)

For anyone who might've just started reading my journal, HI. I AM NOT CRAZY.

Anyone reading the comments? She's lying. She's totally crazy.

And genderfucking sounds more appropriate, believe it or not. But... *giggles* Somehow, when you say you're worried about it reaching into the tennis fandom? I'm left with the inappropriate image of Johnny Mac as a woman. No clue why, it just popped into my head. :-P

I'm not! Really! At least-- not all the time. Ish.

Actually it does, now you mention it. Something that crazy sound have a crazy name. Johnny Mac as a woman! *dies of laughter* That would be awesome.

Are too!!!

Exactly. Genderbending sounds like... well, let's just put it this way. It sounds like it'd be really painful for a guy. ;-) *giggles* Now, part of me really wants to write it. *shakes head* You're not only crazy, you're evil too.

I have no idea why but it's one of those fic things that I really, really like. I'm not even hugely into Due South fic, but two of my favourite fics in that fandom involve genderfucking.

I hadn't really come across it that often before now, so I hadn't thought about it. It's fantastic when it's done well though; the Top Gear ones are hilarious. As long as it's vaguely plausible -- as plausible as genderfucking could ever be, I guess ^_^ -- I'm definitely liking it.

You know Roger dresses up in Mirka's underwear and heels when she's not around, right? :p

From: [identity profile] fionaandlossi.livejournal.com
It's those two, she probably goes out and gets him his own underwear for those occasions. Because when he gave her hers back before, they were always stretched out of shape, not by much, but just enough, and so she thought it would just be easier.

Roger swears that that takes half the fun out of it.

*grins and points down* Borrow Mirka's? He's probably got his own drawerful.

Though he did mention in that interview once that he wasn't wearing any underwear... ;-)

*points up* One day I'll get the hang of the order in which LJ posts comments.
