This is my life. Oh dear.
Feb. 27th, 2007 06:18 pmGenderfucking is stalking my life lately. There's
topgearslash's February challenge and then it shows up on the flist and then, today, our English lecturer brought it up. Only she called it genderbending but I still prefer genderfucking, for no reason other than I am still five years old and swearing is funnier.
Anyway, starting to be a little weirded out. Any minute now, someone's going to do it in tennis slash and convince me the world is indeed conspiring to make me write it. I am womanfully resisting. Mainly because as funny as it is to give Hamster breasts, I'm having more trouble building a mental image of woman!Roger.
...
For anyone who might've just started reading my journal, HI. I AM NOT CRAZY.
No, really.
...Yeah.

Date: 2007-02-27 07:02 pm (UTC)I've always wanted to write Andy winning Wimbledon and Roger winning Wimbledon as a woman and them having to dance at the Champion's Ball, because cutes.

Date: 2007-02-27 07:05 pm (UTC)You have a paypal account, right? How easy was it to set up, do you trust it, and is it how you pay for your LJ?
As you can probably tell from my line of questioning, my paid acount runs out tomorrow and I've never paid for it before *sheepish* and this time I am.

Date: 2007-02-27 07:33 pm (UTC)I like that it's Roger that's the woman. ;-) Though... Andy's very much a guy so he'd be an even weirder woman and yeah, it'd probably work better. Definite cutes. We should totally do a genderfucking challenge for Wimbledon.

Date: 2007-02-27 07:42 pm (UTC)I do, it was pretty easy, I trust it in that I've never had problems (other than their never-ending persistence in sending me emails after I've got bored of them and that's my fault for not bothering to cancel them) and it's been highly recommended by several friends who use it. It isn't how I pay for my LJ however, not since the first time when I only used it because LJ was having problems with accepting a debit card. I use my VISA direct with LJ now and it's been fine for years so if you've got a card they accept, I'd recommend skipping the hassle of Paypal and doing it direct through LJ. Paypal's absolutely fine, I just find it frustrating to have to go through an intermediary.
*grins* Once you pay for it once, you'll be paying for it forever. ;-) Renewing my LJ is an annual, impossible-to-resist event now.

Date: 2007-02-27 07:50 pm (UTC)Well, Andy just couldn't be a woman in any way. I mean... come on. ;) He's a complete sports freak and generally just guy-ish. Plus he has no fashion sense whatsoever. Very cutes. We should do. It'd be hilarious.

Date: 2007-02-27 08:54 pm (UTC)Anyone reading the comments? She's lying. She's totally crazy.
And genderfucking sounds more appropriate, believe it or not. But... *giggles* Somehow, when you say you're worried about it reaching into the tennis fandom? I'm left with the inappropriate image of Johnny Mac as a woman. No clue why, it just popped into my head. :-P

Date: 2007-02-28 07:07 pm (UTC)Andy is totally guy-ish. But then I'm accepting Jeremy Clarkson turned into a woman, so anything is possible. Yes but do all the women players have fashion sense? ;) He'd blend right in with some of them. We really should. The tennis fandom needs more challenges I think. Especially crack-y ones.

Date: 2007-02-28 09:16 pm (UTC)Exactly. Genderbending sounds like... well, let's just put it this way. It sounds like it'd be really painful for a guy. ;-) *giggles* Now, part of me really wants to write it. *shakes head* You're not only crazy, you're evil too.
