Because I'm not awake to really say anything I have to think about.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.

"I'd had a fantastic time on my last afternoon in the city, when I'd returned to the hotel for a rest but ended up wandering down the high street. I'd seen it was crowded and that there was something going on and I wanted to explore.

Wandering through crowds can be a bit awkward for me, not because I get swamped but just because it makes me feel very self-conscious."

Ewan McGregor writing in his and Charley Boorman's book Long Way Round: Chasing Shadows Across the World, absolutely fantastic book and one everyone should read. It was such an incredible idea, going round the world on motorbikes and that they actually *did* it and all the people they met, it's just a huge inspiration to everyone. (Plus Ewan McGregor comes across as the loveliest person and it's sweet. :) ) It lives on the shelf above my computer in case I need to grab it to reference something. Just be glad my hand didn't fall on my 'Concise Dictionary of Literary Terms' instead. ;)

Cold has eased into slight stuffiness which hopefully will go completely over the next day or so. For all I was blaming the demon child on the bus, it turns out my auntie's had a cold all week and I saw her a few days ago, so. Somewhat diffused my wrath, though I'll have more wrath if it lasts for a *week*. Aagain I say; who catches a cold in *August*?!

I've been awake twenty minutes and somehow I've acquired a hamster to look after for the weekend. That apparently bites everyone.

This'll be... interesting.

*pets* Colds in August make sense though, especially if there are unusual changes in temperature. You know, big jumps just like in the UK -_-

Get the hamster a big, thick carrot. It'll be gnawing on it all weekend :p

So not only did the heatwave make me miserable, it gave me a cold? I knew it was evil. ;-) It's not bad today at all though, so hopefully it'll be gone by tomorrow. If I don't get the cough that's lurking. -_-

If I kill my cousin's hamster through an overdose of carrot, she may sic her two small children on me and they're very, very scary. ;) I've given her an empty toilet roll tube which she's happily destroying. For a hamster, she's absolutely huge.

To keep a cough from developing you need to lubricate line your throat, so it doesn't get irritated ;) Lotsa hot drinks, lemon is good because it's acidic, kills bacteria and has vitamin C. Honey will soothe your throat.

AH, attack of the children...I'm only babysitting one tonight, but she is a bundle of energy. *giggles* Radioactive and destroying Tokyo huge or just fat? ;)

I've been using the lemon and honey, which at least is nice even if my throat still hurts. ^_^ Though having a cold = best excuse to eat honey out the jar *ever*.

I'm half-convinced the oldest one is truly evil. She's about six and shopping for clothes is one of her favourite hobbies. -_- Just fat, now I've had a chance to look at her properly but she's a pretty big hamster. More like rat size. She doesn't bite either; I handled her earlier and she's fine. *sighs over people who have pets and don't know how to handle them*
