edit: Just in case, warning of the slightest of spoilers for Doctor Who's The Impossible Planet in the comments.
edit: Oh! And also! The music was so totally Firefly and I *squeed* like hell. YES, THE COWBOY MUSIC IN SPACE IS WITH THE AWESOMENESS, ALL SHALL LOVEME YE AND DESPAIR!
I included that because I SWEAR I heard it at one point, I think when the Oood were being all with the posess-y ness and saying "I am Satan, yada yada." Though I could just be crazy but it sounded like it. LotR! Hee! Plus Alien and god knows what else that episode was reminiscent of.
