The basic gist of a conversation that happened a couple of hours ago:

*phone rings*

Me: Hello?
Brother: Hey. Look, I know it's short notice but if you still want to come down for Serenity tonight, you can. They let us out this work thing three hours early, so I'll be getting back about half six.
Me: ... I can't get down there in time. The last direct train went an hour ago.
Brother: Oh. Oh well, come down in October and we'll go see it. Sorry about the mix-up.
Me: Yeah, it's okay.
Brother: ... I'll probably still go tonight with some friends.
Me: ... Yeah. Have fun.

I know. I would've rather *not* known that he was going to get to go.

I hated the Americans who got to see it early a little bit too. But it actually comes out over here about a week later than it does in the US, so I'm going to side-stepping spoilers - well, I already gave in and read one or two - until I get to a good cinema and can actually see it, which may not be till mid/the end of October, since Lancaster's 'cinema' should've been condemned centuries ago.

*curls up with the caramel brownies and munches away* Mmmmmmm, brownies. :D
