Another one of those seemingly crazy questions - what do Americans call 'toilets' - do you refer to them as restrooms or bathrooms or toilets or something else?
Hmmmm, I think any of them would be used... though restroom is generally used more in public than anywhere else... bathroom is for home or public, and toilet is mostly used at home.
Cross culture fic can indeed be a pain in the ass for the writer. :-)
