clo_again: (sleep when you're dead)
Y'all are very quiet tonight. Did the giant squid eat my -flist or something?

Fic is going well, but I think I need to sit my muses down and explain the concept of 'ficlet' to them again. 2,188 words and counting. Does that sound like a ficlet to you?

So yeah. Up sometime. Depends on how many coffee-trips I end up making. Mmmm, coffee...

This song is making me think of [livejournal.com profile] scoobydumblonde's latest fic and it's making me giggle. *giggles* ^__^

THUNDERSTORMS!

Oh this was definitely worth staying up all night for. *bounces and crosses her fingers for a proper storm*

EDIT: *sighs* As usual British weather fails again. Two rumbles of thunder, a brief snow shower and all is back to normal. Stupid sucky weather.

I need to find a way to finish this fic dammit. -_-

Final Poetry "Ficlet" - 4,000+ words, ficlet, hah - up at [livejournal.com profile] clofic.

I'm going to sleep for the rest of the day now. Good night.

*collapses into bed*

I want cookies. Chocolate chip cookies. It's Sunday and it's half seven and I don't think the shop will still be open. Oh god, I want chocolate chip cookies. Considering I slept till 4:30pm - sort of, I woke up, checked LJ around 1pm then went back to sleep, which is why there will be NO MORE all-nighters for me until after my exams - the walk would be good for me. And I could check my post. And put off doing my Creative Writing crits a little longer, which is all good.

Oh my god it's the first of May. Is it? It really is. I need more sleep. Some sleep. Any sleep. And cookies! *ponders walking to the shop on the off-chance it'll still be open*

R's spotted a Wimbledon trip in the travel agents down town. £435 I think, for travel down there, four star accomodation and tickets for a quarter finals match. If it's possible to split that between us, it's just about affordable though still a little ouch in comparison to what we were planning to spend. However we want to know which match it'd be - I'd happily watch the woman's quarter final matches, so long as I got see one of the guys' matches too. Because the quarter finals! Think what our chances of seeing Roger play would be! I know for most of the matches you just buy the ticket for the court and get to watch whatever matches are on that court all day. However you can't buy Centre court tickets on the gates for the last four days and I suspect you'll be buying tickets per match instead. And of course if that price is per person, then it's pointless since although I *could* afford it if I feel like being broke for the next two years, there's no point paying that much when we could do the whole trip for under £200. So we're going to go in tomorrow and demand details and see what comes out of it. Because just getting on a coach and getting off it again outside our hotel in London? Already having tickets before we left? No words for how helpful that'd be.

I think I'm going to have to give up on the idea of cookies. *mourns* The shop closes at 8. Could I get there in ten minutes?

Hhhhmm. See you in ten minutes.

Clo

EDIT: I couldn't get there in ten minutes...

...but they were five minute late closing. *munches happily on her cookies*
