May. 5th, 2006 10:49 pmSo. The TV license people sent my refund cheque home instead of here (which makes no sense because THIS is the address on the licence, which I put on the refund form so...). But that's not the issue. Guess how much they refunded me?
Half. Half of what they *actually* owe me. *Less*. £31 instead of £64.
And they really don't have any argument in their favour, because I cancelled it after five months not six, so it wasn't even close to the borderline of into the next quarter. And I damn well paid them the entire year's worth, so to pay me back a *quarter*--
So the woman's sending me the "If you have any complaints, please call!! Really!" letter and on Monday, a certain government agency is going to get a very furious phone call. I mean *fucking hell*, I'm one of the rare students who actually *bought* a TV license and they do this crap to me! Damn sure not going to be buying one again next year am I?
