Derren's Event really is on every C4 channel, INCLUDING FILM 4. Even the anouncer woman remarked "HE'S NOT EVEN A FILM."

Should I be nervous? Because I am. WHY AM I NERVOUS?

His Twitter has been adorably nervous the last three days though. Possibly that hasn't helped because usually I'm all *handwave* "It's Derren Brown! He is potentially The Devil Himself! He knows what he's doing!" Except on Twitter he kind of comes across as a guy who can't sleep the night before a big trick.

EDIT: HE GOT THEM! ALL FIVE! (he didn't bother with the bonus ball). Good man! Can look forward to the explanation on Friday happily now. :DD More immediately, looking forward to his relieved/gleeful Twittering.

(Anyone else think he was adorable live and hyperactively terrified? Oh Derren, if you staged a hostile takover of the world I would so be there waving a "(Derren) Brown for Ultimate Ruler!" banner.

edit: All the people on Twitter claiming 'they freeze-framed it while they changed the balls!' is talking bollocks. Firstly live and secondly, the summary for Friday's show says Derren'll explain and it'll be 'something viewers at home can try too'. So unless we can freeze-frame real life or the summary is lying, (which seems unlikely given that Derren's spent a year planning this) it can't be that. I thought maybe it could be to do with what balls have come up most commonly in the past (apparently this has a higher rate of success than picking random numbers? Can't see why though, if it's as random it's supposed to be) but I don't see how he could do all five from that. Anyway, Derren's had a year to plan this and we've had three days to mull it over. I'd rather not waste my time guessing and just wait on Friday's explanation, because an extra two days is not going to make me into Derren Brown.

For those of you who don't know who Derren Brown is, don't live in the UK, or just plain don't know what I'm babbling about, here's a brief explanation. :)

He was! He should be live more often. (I'd already seen it. It was one of my very early intros to him, though I can't remember if I originally watched it on C4 or dled it; it's lived on my harddrive for ages though. ISN'T HE RIDICULOUSLY CRAZY? HOW LONG MUST THAT TAKE?! I don't know when he finds time to sleep in his life. Athough it probably saved him any time he would've spent being lost in London...but he would've had to be lost for years for it to balance.)

OMG Derren Brown is amazing. I couldn't believe that he actually did it. And he so did it, I don't care what anyone said. He's a total freak of nature, I love it. I'm excited to find out how though. It was obviously be doing something the average human brani can't understand!

Why don't I have a Derren Brown icon??
