It's bad that my second thought immediately following that was MUST GET TO LAPTOP. WATCH INTERNET IMPLODE right?

Also Torchwood is second on Twitter's trending topics right now, mostly from people going "WHAT?! WHAT?! NOOOOOOO!" interspersed with the occasional hard-hearted bastard going "Great episode of Torchwood tonight!" NO IT WASN'T. GGGRRRRAAAAAAAGGH.

SERIOUSLY. WHAT.

(...this show is so dead, isn't it? :( I'm surprised at how sad that makes me. Moreso after this week, which has been epically good up until now. BBC, sometimes I really hate you.)

Also not calm! Totally uncalm! I actually didn't realise how attached I was to Ianto until this. He's just- he's there, always being quietly awesome in the background. If he stays dead... dude, Torchwood have more dead members than living. It's seriously ridiculous.

It makes me sad that Primeval could totally pull off killing the main characters and still continue being awesome, but I really don't think Torchwood can pull off this many awesome character deaths so close together. If Ianto stays dead, I think it's pretty much killed the show. :(

I was in the room with my mother so I was handwaving it off with an Unconcerned Face and being all "It's fine! Must go watch the internet implode, byes!" and bolted upstairs to sniffle. Suspect if I'd been watching it on my own I'd be a puddle of mourning on the floor. The fans should revolt! It's a ridiculous move; even Gwen's newfound awesome can't fill in the gap of competence left if they kill Ianto forevers.
