clo_againSo I'm halfway through the second episode of the second series of Ashes to Ashes and...
TYLER. SHE SAID TYLER. I ALMOST FELL OFF THE BED.
AND I'M ON THE TOP BUNK.
Dammit I want this entire series now. Aaaaaahhhhh. I've been waiting for so long for answers in this 'verse that I think I'd actually stopped expecting any. I still have no idea how they can explain all this away and I still miss Sam's interactions with Gene terribly but at the same time I 'm really enjoying the episode-long Alex and Gene snarkfests and everything so much that answers became a *handwave* “whatever”. It's more exciting that stuff actually seems to be happening because it was unexpected and yay, answers possible imminent in future!
Actually it'd still be exciting if people just mentioned Sam more. I do miss him. Rereading Damaged People recently reminded me how much, though my brain has now decided his disappearance in canon is clearly because he's run off with Jack to timetravel around the universe. Clearly. And Ashes to Ashes will end with them making it back and Jack hitting on Gene, Gene hitting Jack and it all going downhill from there while Sam and Alex bet on who'll win.
...I'd put my money on Gene. Even invincible!Jack isn't that good.
She said Tyler. Duuuuuuuuude. *flail* It won't mean what I think and it probably won't be half as exciting but still!!!! I am so watching the rest of this series before anything else when I get home.:DDD
