Good News Week from yesterday is up on iTunes. And my hostel here has the same excellent wireless as the YHAs. In the room.

Except I really want coffee and I should go see something of Christchurch, so I'm thinking I'll wannder off to get a takeout Starbucks then come back and eat cold Chinese and watch a film or something while it downloads. That is, if I can find a plud point in my room dammit.

It's amazing how much this has cheered me up from the sulk I was in not two minutes ago. I should not be sulking on my almost-last night in New Zealand but I'm totally looking forward to getting back to Oz and people I can hang out with now.

Speaking of which irradiatedsoup, what's best for you to meet up on Thursday? I'll get the airport shuttle in to Southern Cross but should I go hang out in a cafe from there... Sadly I think Starbucks by Fed Square is too far for me to walk without collapsing under the weight of my backpack. *sadness*

If you head upstairs when you get to SC, there is a Starbucks there too! But ANYWAY what time do you think you'll be getting into the station, roughly? I can meet you there? Do you have a mobile?

Ah-hah, local knowledge ftw! :D Uh, my flight gets in just before 8am, so by the time I get my bag, go through decontamination bio-security and get a airbus... say 9am? Maybe half nineish? (I know it's early. ;_; I'm getting up at 2am to get to the airport on time tonight. It seemed like an excellent idea to book a 6am flight two months ago. Damn you two-month-ago-self! Why?) My mobile is +44 7509258362. I have yours already, I think. It ends 659 right?

Should we say... 9:15am? In Starbucks, so I can get caffeinated before going anywhere? ^_^ (Whereabouts is it upstairs? Google is proving distinctly unhelpful, alas.)

9:15. Sounds like a plan! And don't worry, it's not too early. I once got up at 5am to meet a travelling friend. It was fun except I pretty much just garbled at hime for the first hour.

The Starbucks is on the end of the DFO there. So if you head up one floor when you get off the bus and then head towards where the trains are. It's like ...at the entrance there. If you can't find it just hang out at the bus stop and I'll find you.
