clo_again..am taking a brief break from PotC-ficcing, though I'm enjoying it immensely. I seem to wander off on tangents far too often though. It's fun, if not very constructive.
My parents have offered me a choice..... a *big* 18th birthday party on Halloween, hire the room, this cool guitar-singer guy, pay for the food and the costumes (since I've always loved fancy dress) OR they'll put the money they would have spent on the party towards a laptop for me. Now I'm all like.... "Ahhh.... I have to CHOOSE?" but it really comes down to what I need the most and I need that laptop. My brother can get a good one for about £800 because he works in Dixons (they had one equally as good for £700 but the moron sold it today) which is kinda expensive, but the party would end up costing around £600 by the time everything was done...... and I need that laptop for university. And plus, everyone gets more fic because I won't have to stop writing when my brother wants the computer or my parents distract me, I can just retreat to my room. It's oh-so-tempting. But that also means no party, which is depressingly boring. And my parents found this really cool spooky function room to rent up at the Plassey too. But they wanted family to come and I said "If they're wearing a Halloween costume fine they can come in, but if not, tough luck." Which didn't go down well since my parents are incredibly boring and didn't want to dress up. Meh.
But... LAPTOP and but....... PARTY.... *groans* And I need to pick *now* so my brother can grab that good laptop for me. Which i won't get until the end of October anyway, but it'll be long sold by then anyway. *sighs* Another tough late-night decision. Why can't I have to chose in the *afternoon*, when my brain *works* hhhm?!!
Leaving that for now, the Depp-fest is still on for tomorrow, only Christine wants to see 'From Hell' which is all good since although I've seen it, I quite enjoyed it and don't mind seeing it again. Before we went out to rent it tomorrow I thought "I'll check to see if it's on Sky tomorrow......" I decided this at half ten. Duly went to my T.V. Turned to movie channels. Guess what was on? Yep, From-godamn-Hell. Only it started at 10 so I was too late to tape it and our VCR doesn't work anyway. *sighs* So will rent it tomorrow. If it had been on *tomorrow* instead god-dammit...... There is someone Up There mocking me I swear. Sitting on his Holy Ass on his Holy fluffy pink cloud and pointing and laughing like Nelson off 'The Simpsons'. Bully. Sorry, Holy Bully. Give me a machine gun and you will be fucking hole-y you bastard.
