York was fun. Spent more money than I planned and somehow ended up with none of the stuff i went for, but eh. Got a cute little letter opener that's a replica of 'Sting' from LotR. They had a Narsil one too but Sting was cuter. The Masai statuette I wanted was too expensive - £80! So I'll have to save up.

Trains were better than I thought but I've decided I dislike travelling. On the way home we passed through a place called "Frodsham" and it probably says a lot about my mental stability that I read it as "FrodoSam".

My dad's been annoying me since we got back, acting very childish. Must be pissed that we didn't get him a present, though he didn't deserve one because he never offered to drive us to York, made us catch the train. However this from liroa15 cheered me up immensely. *snickers*
