clo_againHave travel insurance, a hotel right across from where the airport Skybus drops off for when I reach Melbourne (though I'm waiting for them to get back to me on my early check-in, so I can shower asap) and a big long list of recommended hostels courtesy of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kindoftrouble's sister (:DD) that I've started looking through. Oh and an iPod shuffle is on it's way to me from Amazon.
I'm exhausted from spending money now. Need cheeseburger.
chickybee32, would it be alright to come to yours from Wednesday 1st April (I JUST REALISED THAT'S APRIL FOOLS. *facepalm* Do I get diplomatic immunity?) and we can flail and hang out etc for a few days (I haven't got that far with planning what happens next. ^_^)? Though I think we should watch Fellowship of the Ring or, you know. At least that scene. ;-)

O.O I've been expecting couches but everyone's saying things like "spare room!" and "sofa bed!" I'm going to be so spoilt. I've never looked forward to watching LotR so much before. :DDD And Tim Tams! I'm ridiculously excited about trying Tim Tams.
I'm going to try and get a travel sim so my phone'll work over there, so as soon as I've got one I'll let you know the number. Otherwise we'll have to pick a time and a place to meet, like spies. :DDDDD INTERNATIONAL SPIES.

Date: 2009-02-23 12:55 pm (UTC)OMGOMGOMG! Tim tams! And coffee bongs! omg! I didn't even think of those! And I could not stick anyone on our couch - it's comfortable, but you'd be woken up at 6am by slobbery kisses from a 2yr old.. or he'd try prising your eyelids open.
Lee's a little scared about our FOTR plans too. I can't say I blame him :D
