Demons was doing fantastically well until it used Kaiser Chief's Ruby while Luke was looking for his girlfriend... Ruby. I'm torn between amusement and facepalming.

But otherwise it's quite shiny and excellent. Without the sparkle of Buffy but in a whole different league to oh say, Torchwood which is along similar 'catching weird things/people' lines. The camera people of Torchwood especially should be watching this and taking notes.

I admit my first reaction to Philip Glenister's accent was to burst out laughing though. It's very odd.

I will watch anything with Philip Glenister in it. I have a feeling that I am going to become gleeful over this show. I'm not going to take it seriously, but I think I'm going to get a lot of fun out of it.

I think it's going to be like Primeval; fun, a little silly, occasionally pretty. Plus Philip Glenister who is definitely always awesome.

Not to mention it had no ridiculous handheld/zooming/crap camerawork (it was actually pretty), the CGI didn't look overly crap and I didn't immediately hate any characters. Which means it's already doing better than Torchwood. I kind of love it already. :D

My Uncle and I saw the trailer and both of us had it down as a must watch (or a must watch eventually) if only to try and figure out what accent Philip Glennister was failing miserably at.
