A guy who works here that I vaguely know came up to the counter just before I left on lunch, and told me the parrot he bought was dead and he wanted to complain. I blanked on what the hell he was on about for a good three minutes, even though he was smirking like anything.
Take a Pythonesque failcard. Duh. Thing is, I haven't seen that sketch in so long I can't remember what the guy in the shop says, other than something along the lines of "Are you sure?" In fact the Python quote I use most is probably "Run away! Run away!" from THG, because it just works for so many things and no one in my office gets it. Although I did go through a phase of muttering spam spam spam spam to myself when I was bored.
It kind of made my day a lot funnier though. Dammit I wish I could use Youtube so I could watch that sketch again now.
