Just writing my address on the envelope to send for the Wimbledon ballot, when it occurred to me - I probably won't be living there when they send the ballot results out (I'll probably hopefully be in Oz actually but my parents won't be living there, whatever) and I definitely won't be living there when they post out the tickets. Is it even possible to apply from one address then get them to change it at a later date? It seems harsh on people who happen to be moving house then if not.
Of course we could pay the Royal Mail to forward everything for us but I'm not sure I trust something as important as Wimbledon tickets to the Royal Mail. Not that I doubt their reliability or anything... oh wait, actually I do.
Not that I'll get tickets this time, since all my luck went on front row Centre seats during a Roger match last year. That's used up my allocation of Wimbledon awesome for at least the next decade. But still.
Hm.

Date: 2008-11-11 11:27 am (UTC)If by some woeful lack of willpower on my part I don't have enough money by March then the trip'll just be put back until around September-November time. I will be in Australia sometime next year anyway. ^__^

Date: 2008-11-12 03:13 pm (UTC)Right now I'm terribly disorganised and only know I will definitely be in Queensland at some point, but I'm going to have to start booking flights soon so I should sort my travel plan in the next couple of weeks. Is there anyplace you'd recommend as definitely worth seeing?
