I am so avoiding Horribly Boring Filing right now. I've been putting it off for two weeks and it's mounted up and now it's looming in all its ominous tedium. Which is why I shouldn't put it off but then, it's boring...

You know, I'm struggling to care this week. It's just harder than usual, for no real reason except maybe the 'rents are away so it's more time-consuming with buses instead of lifts or maybe it's because my fortnight holiday is finally imminent. Idk. It's just more difficult.

Glad you realise it's not the customer services people's fault. Probably not Dell's or even whoever makes whatever part they are waiting for. Mostly these things go all the way back to the raw materials suppliers. Pain in the arse when there's such a chain they have to go through. Like this August when we finally got the Vauxhall filler caps in which they needed the right colour red paint for (due to legal issues to do with official licensing). Most people had been waiting since they were announced in July 2007. So it could be worse. ;-)

What you want a fancy laptop for anyway?
