Watching Gonzo vs Blake and the commentators are complaining about how badly the tennis side of the Olympics has been organised. Schedules not available until after midnight, players with no idea what's going on, no programmes...

Somehow, in four years when it's Wimbledon running the show? I don't think there'll be any problems.

Though, wow. Four years. How many of our guys will still be playing then? :( Though it's funny to think, the Olympics marks the fourth wait that was some terrible maths fifth year of me watching tennis, yet the landscape is essentially the same. We've lost a few people along the way, Roger's in a slump and Andy is, well, Andy is still almost-losing to the weirdest people (Schwank Andy? Seriously? What, were you too busy laughing at his name to play?). I guess Djokovic has appeared from off the radar. And Andy Murray is actually looking like a top five player and not just the British press' whipping boy for the next ten years. So, stuff has changed. A bit. And I know that they don't speak Swiss in Switzerland now, which is a step up.

Mmmm. Where will tennis be in four years. Interesting.

On another note entirely, my dad just got back from South Africa and he's bought me Witchdoctor Bones. With actual bones. They're the coolest thing ever. *glees*

I know that Andy wants to play the Olympics in London; when he heard it was London instead of Paris he said that it was good for him because it would have been on clay otherwise. I think Roger will play too if he's still playing, he desperately wants that medal. Honestly I think it's one of the reasons Andy didn't go this time because he wants to do it in London, and if it'd been on clay he wouldn't have a shot.

Four years is a long time, I can't believe it's been that long since Athens. It also means it was four years since we got our A-level results. Doesn't that seem scary?

He did say that. Mm. That's hopeful. Imagine an Andy/Roger final at the Wimbledon Olympics. *wistful* They'd be old enough then for it to fit the unexpected!final thing the Olympics seem to have. I'd think Roger would probably retire immediately if he won the gold medal there. We'll have to beg, borrow or steal tickets to all their matches if they're there. Really.

I know. This four years has been the most insanely busy of my life and it feels like it's been five minutes. Or five decades. It is scary. :-/ There's so much that hadn't happened when we were watching Athens. I kind of miss that, when Andy and Roger were still playing each other every other week and everything was less stressful. It was nice. *wistful*
