Pupils sent home for turf 'prank'.

Nothing but respect for those students (assuming that they actually turfed the place properly wall-to-wall to make a proper indoor lawn, rather than kicked a few pieces of turf around). That's what Keith Allen (who, as he pointed out on Top Gear, was expelled for moving all the pipes around on the school organ) referred to as 'intelligent vandalism'. It's fantastic. If a famous artist did it, it would be a statement. All we did on our last day was take lots of photos and wander meekly to the buses.

Also, it doesn't cost hundreds of pounds to clear up turf. Pfft. I hope I never end up as miserable and stuffy as the people who're putting a downer on such a cool prank.

That? Is AWESOME. I should have done that when I left! We did some pretty good stuff though. *remembers fondly* The added genius was the 'Foor Sale' sign we borrowed and put outside the school. Also the washing line we put up over the entrance. And the bouncy castle was fun.

That's ace! I wish we'd thought of something like that. We just had a water fight on the last day. Which was quite fun, admittedly; we got the Head of Sixth Form with a dustbin full of water, heh.

It sounds like it was more the drunkeness the school objected to. Silly pupils, the rule is don't get caught.
