From the moment they announced Rachel was the other one in the sing-off, I knew Sarah was going out. Even though she sang so beautifully last night and again tonight with the Olivers, they've never seemed to rate her as much as Rachel. And as much as I see Webby's point about Rachel being rock-solid, I think Sarah, on her spectacular nights which I'm sure would've been most of them, would've been the kind of Nancy to have people going back to see it a second time. While Rachel would be the kind people say "Oh yes, she was very good wasn't she?" and promptly forget about.

I'm sad we won't have Sarah singing beautifully next week. :( It'll be less interesting for it.

(I also want to reiterate my faith in Jessie being the winner of this competition before it even started. We've been watching for the subliminal influencing the whole way through and in the group numbers, every week without fail, she's in the centre or in an eye-catching place. Also, see the reaction from the pannel this week. I'm starting to agree with my dad about it all being set-up, but I like Jessie and she deserves to win, so I'm all for a little setting-up. kindoftrouble we're going to see it if Jessie wins, aren't we?)

It is totally fixed! I am so unimpressed with this week and it is making me consider stop watching as there was no reason for them to kick Sarah out. She was awesome. And I loved her pretty voice and she would have made an awesome Nancy. She was so good with the Olivers. :(

(And yes, we'll see it if Jessie wins. Or if Sarah gets the back-up Nancy job and we'll go and see her on the weeks when whoever wins isn't doing it.)

It really is. If they vote off someone else I like next week I will be so close to not watching, because it's ridiculous. Sarah seemed superb to me and all they did was go "...I still don't know" every week. My dad thinks even the panel are in on the set-up and say the right things to influence people. I'm starting to think he's not just paranoid. Poor Sarah. :( I hope she does something else.

(Yay! And heh, knowing us the time we want the back-up singer to be doing it, we'll get the normal lead. ^_^ It would be a nice circle of the universe laughing at us.)
