What the hell Your Webbiness?

I? Am not amused. In the least. Because Francesca was good and had the acting and experience to do the part, much better than at least half the others. And I thought she was better in the sing-off. But do you know what? I think Webbyface thought "It's going to look really bad if I get rid of Ashley after I've been so against her for weeks and I don't like either of these two anyway, so I'll just get rid of Francesca and avoid any repercussions for me." That or he just followed the plan they have set out to get rid of anyone but the girls they want in the final. At this point, namely Jessie, Rachel and Samantha.

This is the first decision this series to make me wonder again just how much of a set-up this is and what suckers we're being taken for. They at least got a couple of shows further in than with the Josephs, when they kicked off Seamus in the third week. Who is now off playing Che Guevara in Evita, so obviously he was so terrible that he deserved to be kicked off in week three.

I'm just sad for Francesca. :( She was so good and had a much more unique voice than nearly all the others. I loved it; I would go to see any musical she's in for it, and yet she had stick from the panel and from Webface and now this. I really don't get where he was coming from on this one.

I know that pretty much everyone I knew thought that the Joseph one was a fix from day one when we refered to it as the one that could sing and the others.

Joseph did seem to be a more obvious fix; I was fooled into thinking "Well maybe" by the first few weeks of this one because there are so many good people, but tonight reminded me, nope. I will be amazed if Jessie, Rachel and/or Samantha aren't in the final.

I have no idea what her name is but the one that's only 17, should she still be in it, is the one I want to win.

Also, Francesca was so excellent when she left too. She could have been a really, really good Nancy and now they're going to put someone in who I do not like at all. Jessie, Rachel and Samantha are so going to be in the final. Especially as they fawn all over Samantha and I do not think she is anything special. At least with the Josephs there was one guy who you knew was good and would be Joseph - thought others were good they weren't quite as good. Whereas I really worry they are going to pick a terrible Nancy as they seem to like Ashley and Samantha and love Rachel who I do not think is anywhere near as good as some of the others.

I would love to see Francesca in something. She has a gorgeous voice.

She really was; I was hoping Webbiness was listening and kicking himself. It's not like I have any deep-seated hatred for Rachel or anything; she sings pretty and seems nice. It's just that they do keep singling her out and she isn't better than the others, certainly not on the acting side. I'm kind of mad at the panel for being so exuberantly nice about Ashley, because I think it's solely because of that that Andrew kept her, and it's not fair when he's admitted he doesn't think she sings as well. That's my one consolation; I don't think she'll make it to be a bad Nancy because I don't think Andrew will keep her in for that long. I would seriously worry if Samantha won; I don't think she has the acting skills and maybe not the voice for it. (On a total side note, I really wish Niamh had a more operatic voice because I keep thinking she looks like she should be in Phantom, not Oliver.)

In short, Jessie should win because she would be awesome. Though honestly even if she gets voted out then she'll be a huge success anyway, with how good she's been so far.

If Francesca is in something, we should go. And hope we have better luck than with Joseph. ;-)

Me too. I definitely would have been kicking myself. Also they have saved Keisha two weeks running the last two weeks so maybe she's going to be the Lewis of this years finale. I don't like Rachel simply because she is so loved by the panel and she is good but not as good as they are making her seem at all. I didn't like her performace this week and I think the panel live in their own bubble. I love the BARROWMAN but I have been so disappointed in him this year. I would also worry if Samantha won but I think enough people at home like her so she might and I'd be so worried for the production. I didn't like her this week simply because she sang a Christina song. She doesn't have the voice. (Niamh would be so good in Phantom anyway, I think. She could win and I'd be happy.) I still say Sarah should be G(a)linda in Wicked. She'd be perfect.

Jessie should win, but I don't know about her acting skills. She should be a pop star instead. I'd go see her!

We should definitely go! It'd be awesome. I don't know what I'd want to see her in though. In maybe 10 years she could be awesome in Chicago.
