It's windy enough to blow the house away tonight. Kinda wishing I'd bought The Wizard of Oz when I thought about it the other day; it'd either be appropriate for the weather, or a guidebook for what to expect when the house does blow away.

I wish the Wizard of Oz episode of Scrubs would come on now. It'd be one of those awesomely weird coincidences.

Today I stuffed about six hundred envelopes. I was starting to climb the walls, until I went to pick up the last three boxes of questionnaires (better than the *five* my boss freaked me out by promising) and found that they'd all been printed without addresses. Which, since they're all matched to student by barcode, rendered them useless and made me guilt-free over asking for the rest of the week off (to be here if the guys doing the bathroom need anything while the 'rents are at work, I'm not just lazy - okay, not only just lazy). The other two girls can finish up the boxes when they get reprinted; if I see another envelope in the next week, I will scream.

Why could I get tickets from Lancaster to London for £20 but the cheapest I can get from here - at least an hour *closer* - is £41? That is illogical. We are most displeased.

Though- I just checked the same days, same times, for the weekend *before* Easter... and it's £17.20. Uh, [livejournal.com profile] kindoftrouble...

Seriously, not amused British transport system. Go and move to FAILSWORTH.

(One of the questionnaries I enveloped today was going to an actual place called Failsworth. It made all those six hundred envelopes worth it.)

Bah. Stupid train fares. -_-

:P You might not have remembered your newfound and useful knowledge though. We should totally go to the science museum! It will be awesome. I love that place.

I have no idea. My brain hurts so much today. I think we should discuss more when we are not brain dead because... well, it would make more sense.

So very us marathon. Mmmm, Torchwood... mmm... James Marsters and John Barrowman...
