It suddenly dawned on me earlier that the hygienist said "See you in three months" as I was leaving. Yeah, like I'm going to walk willingly into that room ever again. My teeth still hurt.
But otherwise, good news everyone! Amazon have dispatched my Futurama already. They're saying it won't arrive until Monday anyway (not that I don't have all of Farscape still to watch or anything, I should really start that tonight) but at least it hasn't taken them a week to post it like it usually does. More worrying is that I got an email from them yesterday saying they still haven't received some books I returned as damaged back in December. And my wonderful mother who posted them for me didn't get any proof of postage. -_- They have another two weeks to get there, so we'll see. I will be less than amused if I end up paying for two copies of them; they're the smart black and white copies of His Dark Materials that I feel guilty for buying in the first place. I really don't need to pay more than I already did for them.
The same wonderful mother who Fails at proof of postage is telling me that she doesn't get Futurama. I didn't need to be told this, since she asks for clarification after every joke. Sometimes I wonder how out of touch the older generation really is.
I have a job for a week next week but I don't actually know where it is. Google maps is being decidedly unhelpful. Maybe I'll just wander 'round aimlessly until I recognise street names.
