Amazon have all four seasons of Futurama for £40. I've been saying for months that I need to buy me some Futurama.

Note to self: You are saving for Very Important Trip. Just because you got a call offering you a week's worth of work for next week at £7 an hour doesn't mean you can go nuts. Srsly.

(Forty-frickin-pound. I was going to spend more than that on shoes last week. And didn't. Does that technically mean I owe myself £40? Disregarding that I never bought my DCs and will need to if I get a retail job that wants me to be on my feet all day.)

Wait! I'll let random chance decide for me; I'll get my tin of pennies and silver changed into actual money and if it's more than £10, I'll buy it. Hah. Out of my hands. :)

Dude, I'm never going to get to Australia at this rate. Goddammit, there should be less sales. Though I need to be sane when I get to Oz and DVDs are the best way of staying sane. Really. Proven fact. Ish.

Well if it makes you feel any better, if part of the Oz trip is the wedding, that's not likely to be this decade.

Also (cause I forgot to do it on the post) excellent summery of everything that was wrong with the final Robin Hood. I actually yelled at the screen "Don't say that while he's holding a sword! He's likely to accidently - oh... too late...."

If I keep buying DVDs, my trip's not likely to be this decade either. *facepalm* I've sort of loosely picked out sometime during August-September-October for the Oz trip though, because I wanted to avoid the summer heat and the best times to visit New Zealand, apparently, is October/November or March/April, so I could move on to there after. Which all depends on me earning enough money and is probably more likely to be 2009 if I don't get a proper job soon. -_- And then I have to find people to drag along with me for bits of it, since I can't really do the parts where I'm not clinging to you by myself. At this rate, it'll be a decade before I get it organised.

I know! It's Gisborne; all she had to do was kiss him and he'd have flailed around helplessly for the next ten minutes. It was all so bizarrely pointless.

Aw, I was gonna treat you to Christmas on the beach! *sniggers* It was 41c here yesterday... yeeech! That's a good time to visit Australia - you'd get to see the madness that is Aussie Rules Football. (never thought I'd find a game with 36 buff guys running around in tight shorts boring.) Oooh and I'll drag you up to my parents place so you can see kangaroos fighting.

All Marion had to do was go on about how disgusted she was by the plot to kill the King and that he's the Sheriff's little lapdog and we'd get more delicious angst ( cause let's face it, Gisbourne gives great angst) and she's home free. And WTF was with Robin? It was almost like "Ok, she's in ground now, back to England lads, got a job to do."

That's an insanely good offer!

...and to not help at all, I have gotten so much use out of my Futurama DVDs that I do believe I would be lost without them!

The trip sounds cool - any ideas where exactly, or when?

Evil temptress that you are. ;) My complete collection of Futurama should be here on Monday. It was too cheap to pass up.

The veryveryvery sketchy plan right now is to try to get out to Oz for mid-August, spend six or seven weeks there travelling around and then move on to do New Zealand over October-November. However, this depends on me saving up enough money in the next six months and finding people to cajole/bribe/beg to go with me. Speaking of which, how much spare money and time will you have around say, August...? :)

Muah ha ha, mine is an evil laugh! You'll thank me when the DVDs arrive!

That trip sounds very very cool - will you be taking all your money with you, or working your way round? Unfortunately, I'm gettin back from my trip around america in June - I may not have saved any money up by the time August rolls around!

Evil it is! Maybe I will, maybe I will... but they haven't yet, so I still get to call you an evil temptress. ;)

The plan is to have enough money that I won't have to work but that may end up with me delaying the whole trip. If I put it off 'til 2009, I'll let you know. :) America! Am green with envy. *wistful*

I think I like being a temptress! What shall I tempt you with next? (Muah ha)

http://www.trekamerica.com/tours/tl.html <-- this is what I'm doing, me and a couple of Uni peeps. Very cool and very expensive, which explains why I've been broke since I left Uni! Yes, def keep me updated, who knows if I'll fancy a break by then - as if full time work is now my life, I do not approve! You need to get that werewolf/vampire story written, that'd pay your way through Oz!
