Nov. 17th, 2007 08:18 amThings that occur to me: it may be a bad idea to read Top Gear PWP before I go to a job that involves staring at involved Top Gear people's faces all day. We have stacks of Richard's book high enough to rival the leaning Tower of Pisa; people keep handing me Jeremy's latest and I have to not crack up. Then yesterday, not long after I'd reflected 'Well at least James isn't here', I looked down to find James May staring up at me from the cover of yet another book.
I almost laughed myself into dropping a stack of Hamster's book the other day when I was carrying them down the shop and realised Richard Hammond's face was balanced against my breasts (it'd been a long day; tiredness might've warped me. That said, it was funny.) This may be the final straw.
Not that I'm complaining about a job where I can stare at pictures of the Top Gear boys all day. Just- work and fandom shouldn't collide. Maybe. Not if I don't want to burst into giggles everytime someone buys a book.
