clo_againIn London! Safe, though I forgot to call my 'rents as soon as I got here and got annoyed text messages demanding to know if I'd been axe-murdered. Their lack of faith in me is somewhat irritating, especially when they never call me as soon as they get somewhere; it's always after they've 'settled in' and gone for food and drink and they eventually remember after about three bottles of wine. kindoftrouble has never axe-murdered me and is unlikely to start now. I think. ;)
In other news, am official employee of Waterstones or will be when I start a week on Monday. I might've done a little dance of glee when they called because firstly DISCOUNTED BOOKS and secondly, wages so now the fact I spent £10 on the fairly short trip home tokindoftrouble's yesterday is less horrifying (though still, really? They do realise that super-rich people *don't use public transport* right?) It also means I can get to call the job centre when I get home and tell them to stuff their thirteen week interview for the terminally unemployed up their collective arse. Which is fantastic.
Started my NaNo, handwriting in a Pirates notebook. Think I'm already a few thousand words behind but there are days this week whenkindoftrouble is in work and I can catch up. Maybe.
The second half of November will be interesting.
Also, I've been here about sixteen hours maybe and we've already told the ATP that there should be tennis action figures. Will take bets on the entire world still being sane by the end of this week. We did leave out the part about the Roger figure having an interchangable Darth Vader head.
