Things I Would Do If Money Was Absolutely No Object #1: build my own personal Crystal Maze. Seriously. I was watching an ancient episode of it earlier and having that to run around in, to blow off steam or to bet each other stupid things to do or to have wild parties - there would be no end to the fun.
Also, no one would ever find you if you didn't want them to. Hide and Seek would take days. You'd need to take provisions. And a map. And possibly some kind of pack horse.
It would be the best game ever.
Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas this year is...
~
In other news of outrageous plans, I started designing my birthday cake today (t's becoming tradition for me to bake my own.) There are layers and stripes and a general Nightmare Before Christmas theme.
It will be marvellous. If it doesn't all collapse.
Equally foolishly,
hill2k encouraged me in my idle contemplation of fancy dress earlier. I think I should actually start poking everyone to remind them of the date and to let them know they should hit some costume shops in the next two weeks. At least it's Halloween themed; costumes aren't exactly hard to find right now. If I'm bet enough money/sweets/chocolate I might even wear the orange gothic fairy wings I'm getting (gothic/Halloween fairy outfit. Will also be marvellous and I shall hit anyone who says otherwise with my gothic fairy wand), around the zoo or wherever we decide to go on the Saturday. Hell, it will be my actual birthday and I'm officially entering the Tawdry Twenties (twenty-one still counts as a teenager, let's be honest). I can be excused any little insanities. Big insanities.
I am a little pissy that the zoo's "peak period", which means more expensive tickets, ends 28th October. The day after we'd be going. Up yours, karma. That said, it's cheaper than I expected anyway. Now if I could just work out how many more drinks I'd owe
dukedee for driving us...

"let them know they should hit some costume shops in the next two weeks."
Never! DIY or nothing, for me anyway. And my Ghostbuster outfit the year before last was awesome.
"Now if I could just work out how many more drinks I'd owe dukedee for driving us..."
Lol! Cheek! Couse I will though. I should just say buy me a pub and we'll call it quits. Was saying the other day I haven't been to the zoo in aaaages. So sounds awesome. Hope they've got some new animals.

Date: 2007-10-19 09:22 am (UTC)I'm trying (ish)! No one wants to give me one. ;p Organising a week's holiday in the middle of the run-up to Christmas wasn't the brightest of ideas when it comes to Christmas jobs either.
Heh, I may have to reward people with the shiniest costumes. Mine's almost a normal outfit, only with lots of crazy accessories. Sort of DIY. Nothing as complicated as a Ghostbuster, which would be *cool*.
Ooooo, that will be added to my list of Things to Do if Money Was No Object. #3: Buy Dee a pub. (I have been thinking how great it'd be to live in a pub-turned house, with your own proper bar and everything. We should all live in an old pub one day.) I haven't been in years either, so I'm quite excited. ^___^ I think there's a new elephant house and some sort of new orangutan building since I last went (apparently they're planning to triple the size of the zoo by 2020. 0_0. Back for my 35 birthday then!)

Ghostbuster outfit is long gone, but I have something up my sleeve that's going to be awesome if I can convince my mum to draw round me instead of watching stupid daytime TV.
