I don't know why this gives me such inordinate levels of glee but it does. Simon Pegg in Star Trek. It'll be a toss up between whether I suffocate from the sheer levels of squee or of laughing every time he says anything if he sticks with the accent.

Also, this makes me pine for what might've been. Azkaban is far and away my favourite of the HP movies; the only thing keeping it from being a movie I'll go back to again and again is how creepy I find David Thewlis as Lupin. Given how much I adore book!Lupin, it was a huge disppointment. That said, I wouldn't have pegged (hah) Simon as my first choice for the role but I can see it working. At least he wouldn't be so damn creepy.

Have to go watch Robin Hood now but The Aim of the Night is to catch up on comments, emails, everything. So. We'll see.

It feels weird to be getting all bouncy over a *Star Trek* movie, especially one that isn't out for a year but they're casting all these great people. It can't not be awesome.
