Sep. 23rd, 2007 11:32 pmThe father's DVD copies are going- half well. In that one copied, no problems, using just the computer's own copying software and in under twenty minutes. The second, naturally, is refusing to be read, DVD Shrink hates it and I just downloaded DVD Decrypter and told it to 'decrypt' without having any idea what that actually means.
Though in the log of pop-up warnings, it did just give me an "Arrrggghhhh, too many warnings!" message. A programme giving me 'Arrgggggh!' as an official message is hilarious enough that I don't care if it's not doing anything useful. :)
Still. I've been at this for something like two hours now. A fiver a DVD is totally not worth the effort.
And now it's failed at decrypting too. I'm going to quit and go play on GTA any minute now.
edit: Well, it's seemingly done. There's probably all sorts of crazy problems with it but bed is calling.
I just tried to get Barnabas to climb the stairs, usually a favourite trick of our past rodent pets. He however, was unimpressed with this long tradition and just ran around like a headless chicken until I put him back in his cage.
Suspect my hamster is not the brightest crayon in the box. Then again, he is very teeny. Stands to reason that his thinking capacity should be suitably teeny as well. In fact, in proportion to his size, he's probably has a Stephen-Hawing-level of smarts.
...Which still doesn't mean he's smart enough to climb a few stairs. Sigh.
