His name's still Barnabas but the nicknames are already kicking in. 'Barnabas-myarmabus' came from me trying to find things that rhymed with Barnabas and, of course, there's 'Barnmeister'. He's going to be one confused hamster.

Also, the father parental seemed rather not pissed with me on the phone just now. This is A Good Thing, because it's nice to have at only one parental being pissy at a time.

Very adorable. ^_^ Pets shops should come with "contains extreme cute!" warnings. My cat is currently asleep on the bed about a foot away from Barnabas' cage; even when practically dropped on top of it, his only reaction was a disinterested sniff and to bite me until I let him jump back to the bed and go back to sleep. He's a fairly pathetic feline, really.
