Sigh. Trying to call the job centre to sign on and get the money they'll pay me - the allure of getting £45+ a week for doing nothing almost outweighs the sense of shame at being a 'doley' as my dad so sweetly calls me - but so far all that's happened is that I've been stuck in a queue and, apparently, hung up on. And now I'm in a virtual queue again. I don't een get cheesy music to laugh at, just ringing.

Yay! "Hi I'm Jenny, how can help..."

edit Lady: "Are you being held in custody pending trial?"
Me: O_O ...No?

Christ. At least I didn't laugh at "are you pregnant?"

edit: Well that was not-fun. And I have an interview on Thursday which I have to take things to... only she was talking too fast and I missed a couple of the things.

My life. Such stimulating reading. Maybe I'll move to New Zealand.
