I just (on my second attempt, cursed porters) got Farscape season 1. I was excited before, obviously, because *Farscape* but now I've actually got it and it's sitting on my desk staring me in the face going "I AM MADE OF AWESOME", I'm... I'm practically bouncing. This is *Farscape*. I've loved it since high school when I used to tell my parents I was doing maths homework in my room so (a) they wouldn't distract me and (b) so they wouldn't yell about watching TV instead of homework and then I'd lie on my bed glued to my tiny TV, barely breathing for forty-five minutes. Before fandom, before fanfiction, hell, before *the internet*, I loved Farscape. It was what actually got me talking to my brother, what made him introduce me to Buffy and Stargate. In a way, Farscape is responsible for my entire fandom life up until this point (except maybe tennis. But maybe even that.)

There's nothing else that I've loved for this long and not bought on DVD yet. Nothing. Really nothing now, with the first season of this sitting in front of me.

And I'm going out for dinner tonight. Dammit. Must watch as much as possible before that. And remember to breathe.
