Everytime I try to back up my journal, I get a "the server is not responding" message. Bummer. So I just bought the first series of Farscape to cheer myself up.

Seriously. Amazon has it for £30 while other places range from £80 to the full £99.99. *£30*. I know I was going to wait and get the complete collection next time it's cheap(er) but don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Also, I hate these two months with passion moneywise. I've had three birthdays in the last three weeks, two of them twenty-firsts which demand more than book tokens or chocolates. I have two more twenty-firsts in the next month, a wedding present and Father's Day. I'm buying presents for everyone else on the planet. I need to buy myself something before I go crazy. Because I deserve it dammit.

I wouldn't worry about backing up your LJ too much immediately, I bet everyone and their mother is doing that right now. If you aren't even a member of the affected comm's and don't have any such public content on your userinfo at least, you'll be fine. Might as well wait until things calm down...

After crazy reading/catching-up on everything, I think we're safe. It honestly sounds like the journal deletion is done and over with. Of course, you may want to back up your journal anyhow. I know I am. But they were after certain user interests it sounds like, and you didn't have any of those things listed. Pretty sure we're safe.
