Computer really hates me right now. Spaced played fine (I think; didn't want to ask A to skip work for long enough for a proper test) on A's laptop, so suspecting it's just my computer. Given my crappy luck with burning DVDs lately (seriously; one in three works), am starting to suspect something wrong with the disc drive-y thingamajiggy.
I watch all my DVDs through my computer. There are no words for how much I will sulk if it breaks.
On the plus side, Beaker and Dr. Bunsen are safely installed in the tank. Shubunkins, average-small sized, remarkably ugly and quite, quite adorable. Although Dr. Bunsen lists a little to the right and if Beaker was human he'd probably look like a Neanderthal, they seem pretty happy so far in their clean tank. Which matches the other clean tank with (a surprisingly energetic) Gonzo and Kermit, my clean bathroom, my stack of clean clothes, my tidy(ish) room and my clean washing up.
What I haven't accomplished yet is, in fact, anything useful. Like, work for the two portfolios I have a week and a half to do. 22,000 words. Nice. We aren't even mentioning the Shakespeare exam yet. Likewise, unanswered LJ comments. I promise, soon.
Need to see George tomorrow. Need to be useful again. Need to stop hitting snooze every five minutes for an entire hour. Really. I'm close to suggesting what I really need is another dissertation to do.
Only, you know. Not.
edit: Also, we bought twelve Spider-man 3 tickets between us today, because we are made of awesome. Though people still owe me money for four of them but twelve. We shall conquerallthe cinema! And live there, eating popcorn and ice-cream while making our minions the staff repeat our favourite movies over and over again.
