It's the little things.
Apr. 25th, 2007 12:23 amJust when I'm losing the will to live, the jointhefuzz site gives me Simon Pegg prancing -- not walking, not strolling, prancing -- around in tight swim trunks and doing gay little swishy-twirls of his robe.
Dear Internets, I love you. Never change. Love Clo.
edit: Also, just say "By the power of Greyskull" to me if you want me to crack up from now on. Every. Single. Time.
edit the day before my deadline and panicked boredom setting in: 2,101 words today and 7,500+ overall. And I haven't even finished the *second section* yet. I have at least another 3,000 words without the conclusion. I definitely need time to edit this down. On the plus side, I'm actually just making a point I personally think is pretty nifty in a comparison between Beowulf and American Gods. 'Pretty nifty' meaning 'only interesting if you've spent the last month studying this topic and give a monkey's about it' but still, nifty all the same.
That said, so bored of this chapter now. I want to go onto the girls. I need to, given my word count. Argh.
edit: I totally did not need my playlist to randomly select the Aliens theme at half two in the morning when I'm trying to focus. Really not. Argh.
Think I've finished the second section though. Maybe. And at 2,355 words, it's even almost on the right length. Though dammit, I missed the quote about aliens.

Date: 2007-04-24 11:38 pm (UTC)It is. I think it's a castle and He-man yells it. Maybe. But I'm laughing because in Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead and Simon Pegg stuff generally, they use it kind of in place of "Wow" or "Coooool." Use it completely seriously. It's hilarious and makes me wish I was more of a geek. :D

*pets you* When we meet in person, after we hug each other to death, I'm so saying that just to watch you giggle like a madwoman. *nods*
