From the Radio Times site: FOR YOUR INFORMATION: If the football match preceding tonight's programme goes to extra-time or penalties, Doctor Who will be postponed until next Saturday.

Just when I think that bloody sport can't get any more irritating. Honestly. Is there anywhere in the world where football is banned? And what would it take for me to live there?

I know half my flist likes football. I'm also pretty sure you'd be equally pissy if they cancelled the football because something overran the time slot before. Let me have my rant.

And also, give me music for my dissertation playlist. My title is Conventions in Fantasy: Patterns of a Genre and I'm doing The Odyssey, Beowulf, The Hobbit and American Gods. Any songs that fit fantasy or the books or specific characters in them, anything at all. I'll do a soundtrack after I've finished writing it.

Current word count: still 0. I was too annoyed over 'Who. And yes I'm well aware I said I was going away, so that's what I'm doing now.

edit: And now Sullen Fresher just got back. This is unbelievable. Can't we get any peace around here? Jesus.

edit: They're playing the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves theme music for the Grand National line-up. This gives me crazy levels of squee, because I love it.

All the horses are so beautiful. I can't pick one, because I love them all. I quite liked number 37, though I've forgotten the name and of course I'm cheering for all the greys. I always do. Number 33 is gorgeous.

It was an outrage! Thankfully didn't happen though and I'm so glad it didn't. It would've been criminal to delay an episode that good. ^_^

Nope I think football is the only truly world wide sport, because I was going to say Bhutan, but I think their team beat Monserrat 2-1 in a match that basically decided who of the two could claim to be the worst team in the world.

Woe. Football, like sand in a way. Gets everywhere (life just presented an example: the Joseph reality show I'm watching right now just compared one of the contestants to David Beckham. *sigh*). I like the idea of a "worst team in the world" cup though. It'd be hilarious.

It took me a while but I eventually worked that out. Thought The Outlier was looking good for a while there but it couldn't last. I never pick the winner though. I'm used to it. :)
