Heh, I'm really a terrible font of tennis knowledge, especially lately. ^_^ You do need tickets to get onto Henman Hill because it's within the Wimbledon grounds but you can just get a ground pass, which are the cheapest tickets. Prices'll vary depending on which day you go -- there's a full list on the site here if you scroll down past the show court prices -- and you'll need to join the queue quite early in the morning, though I haven't done the ground pass thing so I'm not sure how early. I think kindoftrouble did a ground-pass day last year, so I can check with her for the sort of time you'd need to be getting to Wimbledon for.
Queuing can be tedious but the atmosphere is worth it. :)Everyone should go to Wimbledon at least once.
