Think I'm developing an obsession with Post-its (okay, they're the Smith's own brand but they're still post-its dammit). The woman just called (middle of the day wtf she never does that. I half expected to hear she'd killed the fish in the Great Sinking of the Fish-Barrel they were doing this weekend) and asked how the dissertation was going. I was all "OMG I'VE RUN OUT OF GREEN POST-ITS." and got a "... Can't you just take notes on paper?"

To which there was much scoffing and "GREEN POST-ITS MEAN QUOTES I CAN USE, FOOL."

Surprisingly, the call didn't last long. Hm.

But yes, I live in a world with a sad lack of green post-its and am lost and confused. Colouring in the yellow ones with green highlighters takes forever. Woe. (Because you will be laughing at me or possibly calling the asylum right now, when I get hold of a digital camera I'll take pictures of my post-it-ised dissertation books. MANY POST-ITS. Something like two and a half packs in the last couple of weeks.

That's a lot of post-its by the way. Loooooooots.)

This is completely off topic but as you are the font of all tennisyknowledge (sideline, roger. OUCH. Plus my fedebear is nowhere to been seen!) what do you know about Murray mount/Henman Hill? Cause I won't get tickets and I wanna go down and at least experience the atmosphere XD do I need tickets? paying?

Heh, I'm really a terrible font of tennis knowledge, especially lately. ^_^ You do need tickets to get onto Henman Hill because it's within the Wimbledon grounds but you can just get a ground pass, which are the cheapest tickets. Prices'll vary depending on which day you go -- there's a full list on the site here if you scroll down past the show court prices -- and you'll need to join the queue quite early in the morning, though I haven't done the ground pass thing so I'm not sure how early. I think [livejournal.com profile] kindoftrouble did a ground-pass day last year, so I can check with her for the sort of time you'd need to be getting to Wimbledon for.

Queuing can be tedious but the atmosphere is worth it. :)Everyone should go to Wimbledon at least once.

I got there about 7.30am for my grounds pass on the first Saturday and I was about halfway through the queue. It'd probably be a bit quieter if you on in a weekday for a grounds pass.

I did actually come here to sy that post-its are so awesome! I like them being in colours. And not just yellow, cause that's dull.

Ahhhh I see ^^ that's not too expensive it'll only be two of us (I think.) and it will definitly be worth it :P I want to sit in the middle with a huge swiss flag, the fedebear and possibly facepaint XD knowing my luck the bbc would find that amusing! But I don't mind queuing and etc so it'll be finnnee thanks for the info though! -glomp-
