It's a good thing I like Rafa, cause I would just throw all kinds of hate vibes to him right now.
I posted this at the Andy Roddick message board at MTF but it bears repeating: I will never look to the tennis gods for anything again. Whenever I want a matchup it spell buckus for Andy's game. From now on, I'll just keep my mouth shut and hopes he gets it together against the big players soon.
Yeah, I'm kind of "eh", neither-like-nor-dislike about Rafa, so I really wanted Andy to beat him. Plus I had the parental making admiring noises over the pretty shots he was hitting and it made me feel even worse for Andy.
I haven't been following Indian Wells that closely, so I had no idea who Andy was playing but I was gutted when I turned on the match and found it was Rafa. I was really hoping someone would've knocked him out earlier so Andy could go on to win it, because I think he needs it at this point. Though... he's getting better. Maybe he can't beat Rafa or Roger but there're a lot of guys out there who can't do it either. I'd settle for a good record against the rest of the top ten.
