*blank horror*
... Does anyone know if the Top Gear boys were borrowing a Bugatti this weekend?
edit: Crikey, one article says it wasn't even the owner driving: two guys had borrowed it to 'take it for a spin'.
Though if you're stupid enough to lend your £800,000 253mph-capable car to a couple of guys in the first place... oh c'mon, you are kind of asking for something like this. Though another article's saying it was a consortium who owned it and they were renting it out.
Really. Asking for it.

Date: 2007-03-06 05:30 pm (UTC)Although apparently it cost £20,000 to rent and I just read in Jeremy's book about him not having money like that to throw around. So I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Sort of.

Date: 2007-03-06 06:03 pm (UTC)I really wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be Jeremy and Hamster. Though I'm pretty sure Hamster's wife would have Serious Wrath if he managed to get into another high speed crash so soon.

Date: 2007-03-08 12:26 am (UTC)I'll see if I can dig it out for you from somewhere. I know I've got at least half of it on a dvd somewhere and I'm pretty sure Holly will have the whole thing if I don't. You may like the contents of the envelope I finally posted to you today then. ^_^ That is, if the discs actually work which, although I checked them all, they may not because copied discs secretly hate me.

Date: 2007-03-08 01:04 am (UTC)It's not got a lot in it but packages are always fun. ^_^ *crosses fingers too* I did check every episode on them and they all worked but... discs will work for me and not for anyone else or break mysteriously en-route and it's very frustrating. Hopefully they'll work this time. pokes her computer warningly*
Also, if Jeremy insults America and American cars, don't take any notice because he insults everyone. He once put a plastic model of Wales in a microwave and melted it. It's all part of his... charm. :)

*giggles* I like hearing America being insulted. ;-)
