I'm googling Lancaster in search of more info on the rumours of Pendle's imminent demise, to distract myself from the fact that yelling at Andy's live scores does not, in fact, make him play better. Though not for lack of trying.

It was seeming to fail rather badly; everytime I tried, he lost points. He only won when I actually feel asleep during the last set. I KNOW AND I WANTTOSEEITOMG. If it's an evening match I will. *hopes*

It just doesn't work. This year I've slept through pretty much all of his matches and it's worked wonders. Lots less stress there. OMG ME TOO. I will be taping it (did you expect anything less) so I can send it to you if it is the day match. ANDY/MARDY SQUEE.

Oh yeah. I'd definitely recommend that. Andy is way too stressful than one person should be because his brain will go walkabout and then we'll all yell at him several times. Well, it's a match that can't be missed. You know I'd tape it for you. ;) Cincy 2003 is the only time I've seen them play each other. Which was so awesome. I AM EXCITED.

Hon, I learned a long time ago that yelling at Andy does not make him play better. I've been taking a zen like approach to Andy, and it's been working so far.

And besides, if Andy loses I realize now that I won't feel the need to kick his ass. Jimmy Connors will do that for us. :)

I tried that and found it more stressful pretending not to be stressed. I think, what with Roger generally giving me no stress at all, I have double the amount to take out on Andy. Woe.

It helps a lot to know there's someone who'll kick his ass for us when he's being dumb. :)We probably owe Jimmy Connors for a hundred years of our combined lives in reduced stress now.
