Okay, I'm trying not to laugh. I know there are people out there -- on my flist even -- who like Beckham or Becks or whatever the hell you want to call him but c'mon, you have to admit that the phone call mentioned in this article wouldn't exactly have been at say, Mensa level. Just how far from it is probably debatable, because I don't know -- how far *do* negative numbers go?

I especially like the part where Beckham calls him "a very wise man". Aw, bless their ikkle delusional hearts. They probably get on like a house on fire.

No comment on wishing fate'd take that last comment literally. Ahem.
