Sitting here, enjoying the sound of the storm and torrential rain outside, when I happened to glance at my windowsill and wonder where all the puddles of water were coming from. Never a good sign.
Closer inspection seems to suggest it's the rain seeping through the bottom join where the window meets the outside 'sill and trickling over the raised plastic where my indoor windowsill meets the window frame. It's not exactly a torrent -- I just wiped up the few small puddles in a minute and they must've been gathering all day -- but not exactly reassuring either. Especially since they spent a lot of time and effort on resealing people's windows last year yet somehow missed our side of the building out.
I blocked up the air vents over the window this morning too because I was getting a mini-gale through them but I did that in first year and it was no problem, so can't see how that would've affected it. Just our crappy buildings breaking in yet another way again. Going to spend the rest of the night keeping an eye on the window anyway.
Times like this make me love my dumb weather tag. It's very fitting.
