My brother is awesome beyond words. Even though I told him not to buy me any more presents and he still went and got me a Nightmare Before Christmas t-shirt, but... *Nightmare Before Christmas*. All is forgiven for ever and ever.

He also downloaded and burned the Farscape, Stargate and Smallville episodes I wanted for my 21st-episode marathon of all my favourite shows. Seriously? I have the best brother ever. I think the rest of Stargate:Atlantis series two is on there too and really, my day is made.

Parents are running late so I still have at least another hour and a half before they get here. Mmm. I should probably use that time to get dressed and not to watch some SG:A.

Really I should. I will. Honest.

TWENTY-ONE. God I feel old, but it's comforting that I can still reverse the numbers and be 12 again. Comforting... in an oddly deluded way.

edit: Oh, and subconcious? I really don't know why you chose to welcome me into my 21st birthday with a dream about Rodney McKay and Meredith Gray getting together during a party of Atlantis' marines and GA's interns in an ancient Victorian house, followed by said marines and interns waking them up with pancakes the next morning. Really, I don't.

I'm not making this up. Weirdest (and one of the clearest) dream ever.

*grins* Thank you. I was trying to think of a way to celebrate the last 21 years but didn't think I'd be able to get hold of Farscape or Smallville. I owe my brother major brownie points for being so awesome. :)

Let me see... for definite I have/will definitely get in the next few days: Buffy, Stargate:SG1, Stargate:Atlantis, House, Red Dwarf, Scrubs, Doctor Who (new), Farscape and Smallville. I Sky+ed the right episodes of Grey's Anatomy, Star Trek: Voyager and Angel before I came to uni but I don't know if my 'rents will have managed the DVD recorder, so I might have to go home to fetch them sometime soon. Lost and Top Gear are still up in the air as to whether or not I get hold of them.

Hustle and Firefly lost out because they haven't actually reached 21 episodes and Futurama and Friends because they were too difficult to get hold of for shows that I was never really dedicated about. :)

TNBC rocks my socks. Have you heard any of the new versions of the songs they released on the new soundtrack? Marilyn Manson's cover of "This is Halloween" is LOVE. As is Fiona Apple singing "Sally's Song."
