An excellent start to the year.

I was having such a good day, only, now I've only gone and lost my damn keys. Except I *can't* have lost-lost them, because I had them with me when I came back from main square. I couldn't have opened the flat or my room door without them; in fact, I distinctly remember opening my room door because I was pleased I'd got back in the habit of locking it again so quickly. So what I've done with them since then? Not the foggiest.

It's unspeakably irritating.

edit: Wait. Scratch that. Just thought "Okay, where do I *always* put things down and lose them?" Sure enough they were in my wardrobe, along with my lip balm.

Clearly it's going to take me a little longer to settle back in. Hhm.
